How to Advertise

Created in 2000 in partnership with the New Jersey State League of Municipalities, the New Jersey Municipal Almanac reaches a broad audience of mayors, municipal administrators and town clerks, state and county officials, municipal attorneys and engineers, business and labors leaders, law firms, libraries and students.

The New Jersey Municipal Almanac is a 650-page, 8 1/2” by 11” reference book published in black-and-white with a full-color cover. Advertising rates are:

  • $5,000 for full-page, full-color inside front cover and inside back cover ads
  • $1,000 for full-page black-and-white ROP ads.
  • $600 for half-page black-and-white ROP ads.
  • $350 for quarter-page black-and-white ROP ads.
  • $200 for one-eighth page black-and-white ROP ads.

Advertisers may request placement of their ads in particular sections of the magazine (Government Organization; Population; Taxes and Income; Real Estate and Construction; Employment, Wages and Retail Sales; Education; or Crime) or opposite a particular municipality’s page in the Municipal Profiles section.


The 2005-2006 New Jersey Municipal Almanac was published in July 2005, and the 2006-2007 edition will be published in July 2006.


The advertising deadline to reserve space in the 2005-2006 edition is Spring 2006 edition is trip edition is Thursday, June 8, at 5 p.m., and the deadline for delivery of advertisements is Tuesday, June 13, at 5 p.m.


“ Early bird” advertisers who reserve space by Thursday, February 16, are entitled to a 25 percent discount on their ads.
